Built Robotics
With Built, I rotated through the Production, Robot Reliability, and R&D teams for the RPD35 and RPS13 piledriving robots. I worked on each stage of the robot lifecycle -- designing modifications to a new excavator attachment, QC & bring-up during the production chain, and maximizing uptime by resolving hardware failures in the field.

Alongside industry professionals and local Swazi stonemasons, I designed and constructed the longest footbridge in the nation of Eswatini (128m), which serves 3,024 community members. Prior to construction I led the design team, using AutoCAD and Excel for design iteration and structural analysis. On-site, I oversaw all land surveying and contributed to each stage of construction including masonry, anchor construction, and deck installation.

My team collaborated with a Duke Health trauma surgeon to develop a mechanical alignment device prototype for ultrasound-guided central venous catheterization, a procedure with >500k serious complications annually. I worked on CAD, prototyping, and testing for both the device itself and a series of tissue-mimicking phantoms.

As Mechanical Lead of a 10+ member robotics team, I managed all mechanical system design, fabrication, and testing. I personally modeled, built, and integrated a 3-DOF lever arm, a custom gearbox, and a pneumatic system with an end effector and handbrake.
